Privacy Policy

No data collected

The app creates no account and sends no data to any server. It includes no analytics tool, no advertising network and no third-party tracker. We therefore receive nothing from you: no identifiers, no contacts, no location, no usage statistics.

Your data stays on your device

Your progress (words learned, review schedule, settings) is written only in your phone's local storage. It only leaves your device if you export a backup file yourself. That file is yours: we never have access to it.

Since nothing is stored on a server, nothing can be restored remotely. If you switch devices, uninstall the app or lose your phone without a backup, your progress is lost. Remember to export a backup regularly.

The lernanto.app website

The presentation page lernanto.app measures its audience with Vercel Web Analytics, the tool provided by the site's host. This measurement uses no cookie, stores nothing on your device and creates no identifier that would let anyone follow you from one site to the next: visits are grouped using a fingerprint computed from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours.

For each page view the following is recorded, and nothing else:

• the date and time;
• the address of the page viewed;
• the page you came from, if you followed a link;
• the parameters present in the address, filtered;
• the estimated country and city;
• the operating system and browser, with their versions;
• the device type: mobile, tablet or desktop.

If you click an App Store or Google Play button, the click is counted with two details only: which store, and the language of the page. The store links also carry a “landing” tag, so that Apple and Google can tell us how many installs came from the site, without telling us anything about you.

We receive neither your IP address, nor your email, nor any identifier about you, and we cannot reconstruct your browsing from one visit to the next.

Why there is no cookie banner. The consent required by law covers writing something onto your device, or reading something from it. This measurement does neither: it stores no cookie and leaves no other trace. There is therefore nothing to ask you, and nothing to click before reading the page.

What it is for: knowing how many people read the page, in which countries, and which language version is useful. The detailed description of this measurement is published by the host at vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.

The app itself measures nothing at all: everything written above remains true without exception. The website and the app are two different things.

In-app purchases

Unlocking one or more languages may be done through a purchase made via your store (Apple's App Store or Google Play). These purchases and the associated payments are handled by the store, under its own privacy policy. Zerava receives no banking data and no personal data related to these transactions.

Your rights (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights to access, rectify and erase your personal data. As we collect and hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to consult, correct or erase. Deleting the app erases all local data from your device.

The website audience measurement described above produces aggregate statistics only, with no identifier: it cannot recognise you or retrieve your visits, so no access or erasure request can be attached to it.

Children

As the app collects no personal data, it requires no parental consent and presents no risk of collecting data about minors.

Changes

If this policy changes (for example when a new feature is added), the update date above will be changed and the new version published on this page.
